If you’re in the market for a great new SUV, there are usually great deals popping up on Black Friday. However, there are not many this year. Most car manufacturers do not have offerings that will impress consumers. Along with higher prices, new cars also remain, regardless of holiday. A few automakers have great deals on sedans, but there’s only one great new SUV deal for Black Friday: the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
1 Amazing New SUV Black Friday Deal
According to Cars.com, only a few vehicles have the best new car deals for Black Friday. The lone SUV available at a better price is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. First, it’s discounted from the factory by anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000. That makes the range of Grand Cherokee models range from $42,000 to $75,500, depending on trim level. As a percentage, that’s roughly 1-6% off the regular MSRP. Jeep is running this offer on Grand Cherokee models through November 30. As with most offers, it won’t be available everywhere, only from select retailers. Be sure to ask about the discount before going to the dealer.
2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee: What’s New?
A few things have changed with the popular Jeep Grand Cherokee for the 2023 model year. According to Car and Driver, it was remade in 2022 but still received some changes. Most prominently, the Trailhawk off-road model is now offered exclusively with the Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain. In addition, mid-range Limited and Overland trims now have a standard 10.1-inch infotainment display with navigation. Newly available as a stand-alone option is a nine-speaker Alpine stereo system, while Overland and Summit model buyers can opt for a 19-speaker McIntosh stereo.
Is the cheapest Grand Cherokee worth buying?
Is the most affordable 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee base model worth the price? Even if it’s cheaper than the rest of the range, especially with the Black Friday deal, should buyers opt for a higher trim instead? The base model Laredo trim is surprisingly well equipped. According to Edmunds, it comes with 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated mirrors, roof rails, keyless entry/ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, six USB ports and a six-speaker sound system.
In addition, every Grand Cherokee model comes with a healthy set of advanced driver aids. For example, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation and rear parking sensors with automatic braking.
Black Friday deals for non-SUVs

This makes the affordable sedan range from $23,500 to $39,000. After that, a 2022 Dodge Charger is $1,000 to $3,500 cheaper than usual. The sporty car is available on Black Friday for $30,500 to $49,000. Finally, Cars.com’s top recommended deal is the 2023 Hyundai Elantra. It’s available for a $750 discount and 3% approximate factory savings. With this deal, the Elantra’s range is from $21,000 to $27,500.
