The HellFire 6×6 Jeep Gladiator is built to take on the Apocalypse!

Apocalypse Manufacturing is not your average, run-of-the-mill car tuner. The guys behind these monstrous 6-wheeled trucks are a hell of a bunch who would love to experiment on any regular SUV or truck, turning it into a real 6×6 vehicle like the Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6. A look at their website reveals that their builds are designed to take on, say, an apocalypse. Or some unforeseen natural disaster.

The company has been at it for almost two decades with a lot of engineering skill, field testing and performance tuning put into making these machines for customers. Apocalypse says there are over 140 of these built and sold worldwide – and that means the American brand has made a name for itself globally. In terms of production levels, Apocalypse is known for dropping products one after the other, such as Hellfire, Sinister 6, Doomsday, and Warlord. The latest release from the manufacturer is the Hellfire 6×6, featuring a new Oculus Tron front Grumper that features a huge LED light bar across the front of the vehicle.

The Apocalypse Hellfire 6×6 is a mean machine

The Hellfire 6×6 is based on the Jeep Gladiator. Apocalypse rips apart the usual bits and adds a six-wheel drive layout, terrifyingly large tires, an active suspension system and an interior filled with the latest technology. In terms of design, the 6×6 Hellfire looks brutal enough to drive through a mansion and come out with barely a few dings and scratches. The color you see is the latest that has been revealed by the manufacturer, called sandstorm with a combination of black Kevlar.

On the front, it gets a unique Oculus Tron front Grumper; it gives it quite a modern look, but one that’s intimidating enough to make other cars move out of the way. It gets 22-inch SFJ wheels wrapped in fat rubber, a windshield guard, 8-foot bed with roll-and-lock cover, electric side steps, and a roof-mounted night vision/thermal imaging camera that can detect heat signatures up to 5 miles from the vehicle. The camera can also rotate up to 360 degrees. It gets a rough lacquer finish, unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Apocalypse Hellfire 6×6 is luxurious and technologically loaded

The interior of the HellFire 6×6 is nothing short of luxurious; it has marine-grade, hand-stitched leather on the dashboard, seats, doors and roof – and everything is weatherproof. In addition, there is a 12-inch infotainment screen. Features include a reversing camera, Bluetooth, navigation, push-button start and a premium sound system that includes Apply CarPlay. You also get a six-switch, high-output LED light control cluster and a full-time display for the rear camera, given the truck’s girth.

Pure power from the Apocalypse Hellfire 6×6

Being a 6×6 pick-up, it’s pretty obvious that there has to be American muscle under the hood. Being based on a Jeep, the Apocalypse offers various engine upgrades, which include the 469 hp, 6.4-liter Hemi 392 V8 or a supercharged 739 hp Hellcat engine. Both engines will be mated to an 8-speed RAM 3500 heavy-duty automatic transmission, but there is a manual option as well.

It gets a fully functional and selectable 4- or 6-wheel drive, for which a patented tandem axle with a 1:1 power transfer ratio has been fitted with full lockers, ensuring that all the power is put down to the road (and off it) effortlessly.

Hellfire 6×6 is ready for the apocalypse

The names of these machines themselves reflect the bold, fearless attitude of the designers and engineers. For six figures, you get what is easily the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6’s nightmare. The custom steel bumpers and custom bodywork protected by a three-part Kevlar coating are just a few of the distinguishing features that make this truck stand out from the rest.
