When taking a turn at less than 25 km/h, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels, helping to reduce the truck’s turning radius.

Holding down the rear wheel control button activates Crab Walk, a somewhat gimmicky feature that I had to test.

In Crab Walk, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels. If you do it right, you can drive diagonally, which is quite neat.

You can also get around the e-truck’s greatness by turning on Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free highway driving system that’s standard on all Hummers.

Turn the steering wheel to the right to change driving modes and you’ll be slapped in the face by bright, elaborate animations of the Hummer rolling through different environments.
