Oracle Lighting’s new LED off-road side mirrors for Jeep Wrangler JL / Gladiator JT Shipping now

Easy integration into factory-style side mirrors; Provides a 45 degree beam angle for functional off-road rider visibility

METAIRIE, LA, December 5, 2022 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high-quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce the new LED Off-Road Side Mirrors for the Jeep Wrangler JL / The Gladiator JT (p/n 5855-001) now ships with an MSRP of $399.95.

“This patent-pending new product features a set of powerful LED light bars integrated into the factory-style side mirrors of the Wrangler JL and Gladiator,” said Justin Hartenstein, director of development for Oracle Lighting. “Ideal for off-road activities such as mountain biking where the rider needs to clearly see obstacles and other potential hazards not directly ahead, this integration allows for easy installation and a clean, near-OEM look while providing a functional 45 degree peripheral beam angle for optimized lighting for the driver. The LEDs are specially designed which have a total of 24 LEDs producing approximately 2250 Lm.”

Multiple aluminum heat sinks are used to efficiently transport heat away from the LEDs and are designed to use the airflow through the mirror housing to increase cooling, similar to a radiator. The housing material is made of robust polycarbonate, which is twice as strong as factor ABS housing and bolts to the vehicle with factory fasteners for easy installation. A set of anodized rock guards protect the LED acrylic lenses, which also contain the advanced LED optics. The efficient optics focus the light for optimal visibility from the driver’s seat.

Additional product features and specifications include:

  • 24x 1W Cree LEDs
  • 6000K color temperature
  • 2 Amp power consumption
  • Patent pending design
  • 2 year warranty

“Our goal in developing this product was to create an LED light bar that could be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle design and appear factory,” Hartenstein concluded. “Light bars and ditch lights that attach to bumpers and roof rails have poor integration and seem like an afterthought. These mirrors are more integrated than traditional ditch lights, serve a functional purpose and look good at the same time…the best of all worlds.”
